Kenja Communication through the Kenja Trust proudly hosts the following national annual events in different venues around Australia:

Kenja Challenge: Canberra.

Held over three days in our national capital, the Kenja Challenge includes national competition in track and field events, womens’ netball and hockey, mens’ basketball and Aussie Rules, triathlon, fencing, ballroom dancing, a public lecture and a one day workshop.

Kenja Aussie All Stars: Sydney

Held annually in June and including a national ballroom dancing competition called Kenja’s Night of Stars, and a national netball and Aussie Rules competition on the Aussie Sports Day.

Kenja Eisteddfod: Melbourne

Held in September/October each year, this is a three day event encompassing a public lecture and concert and competition in ballroom dancing, formation, poetry, choir, instrumental, tap dancing, ballet, aerobic, gymnastics and showcase dancing.

Kenja Spectacular: Sydney

The Kenja Spectacular is a weekend event held in Sydney during October. It features a public lecture, a Prizewinners’ Concert (showcasing the best of the recent Kenja Eisteddfod) and a one day workshop.

Kenja Christmas

Every year, all of the Kenja centres host a range of Christmas activities to celebrate the season. These include Carols by Candlelight, a performance of excerpts from Handel’s Messiah and a Kenja Christmas Pantomime (using the Klowning training). These are public events held free of charge (or at minimal cost in the case of the Pantomime, to cover expenses), forstering community spirit and friendship at an important time of year for many Australian families.
